just right after the festive season of Chinese New Year!! can u believe it??
hmph... this is my first time i am going to bring textbooks to study at relative's house!
k, anyway, this few days were pretty exciting and not that stressful i guess..
not as many homeworks but have to study for tests and i got to go out for dinner twice with my father's boss and his wife who were from sweden.. they are REALLY FRIENDLY!! but sometimes, i couldn't catch their accent when they talk to me! LOL! so embarrassing!! hahasxD
the school also had this methodist walk card thingy..
and we have to ask our family for donations.. LOL!
just found out from my mother that my extended family already has like three of this kind of donation cards!! my aunts and uncles are going to be broke soon man!! oh! and my parents too! hahasxD
IVP!! PRAISE THE LORD!! woohoo!! i am so happy that three groups were shortlisted into the first round of interviews!!
they are emily and blossom's group[handy handrail], lynette's group[bamboo pole] and mine and shu wen's group[harmonious tri-music]!! when i received the sms from emily that blossom told her that we were being shortlisted, i jumped for joy!!
miss kok just explained to these three groups today that after this interview, if we passed, there would be cash prizes to be won and also a second round of interview and if we passed that again, we would be able to go overseas!! she's making me more and more excited la!!
however, there will be a lot of staying back in school nowadays, cos have to train for the presentation and QandA for the interview and miss kok told us that she has invited two HODs to like flood us with questions during our 8 min presentation!! so scary!!
i didn't expect such things to happen!! so exciting!!
and i really thank GOD for making such miracles and wishes come true!!
And today, went to heartland mall after school which ended at around 11 plus..
ate at yoshinoya and then played badminton with wanlin, emily and isobel at a nearby park to relieve stress and also workout at the same time! LOL!! it was fun but would be better if blossom and shu wen could join us!!
we took some pictures but i won't have the time to be able to upload it onto this blog..
oh! and whilst we were playing badminton, emily noticed this guy who was like staring and looking at us from the 3rd storey window! it was like soooooooooooooo freaky!! wan lin and emily guess that he is a bit bu zheng chang.. yupp!! anyway, freaky experience!
tomorrow is Chinese New Year Eve and i've got reunion lunches and dinners.
